can civ 5 mac load saves from pc?

hello civies!

My wonderful gf let me install Civ 5 on her macbook a few days ago. I was hoping I could load my civ 5 games off of my steam cloud on her mac.

Today I wanted to give it a try. When the game loaded up I went to my steam cloud to load my game but all my steam cloud slots were empty.

Is is possible to load a pc save file on a mac version of Civ 5, and does the steam cloud for civ 5 work cross platform.

Yes, PC and Mac save formats are identical. I support the Civ5 GOTM technology that reads submitted saves and extracts data from them, and they are indistinguishable.

No, you can't share them over Steam Cloud. You have to transfer them between machines using any of the usual methods - LAN file sharing, USB stick, email, Dropbox ….
