I really dont get this stratergy post - it really is not a stratergy and just revolves around building a whole lot of wonders and going after GP's with no real direction or focus.
I play on lower difficulty levels and it seems all wrong to me - The author claims to be playing on very high difficulty - could it be that what is'nt optimal at warlords / noble works at the highest level?
Dont get me wrong i use almost all of the methods / tactics listed in the post BUT not all at the same time or in the same game they are dependant on leader + CIV + victory type i am pursuing.
3 - If you are not spiritual and not really looking to go the religious path why? it is not a must.
4 - Pyramids are very expensive and unless i have two good production cities with acess to stone + industrious i wont go for it.
8 - SH only if i am NOT creative - biggest benefit is culture, if i needed the GP points for the prophet i may go for the oracle and pick up the free tech on the way.
9 - Only if i am philosophical and looking to run a lot of specialists and generate heaps of GP's.
10 - Again only if i am pursuing a heavily religion based stratergy.
15 - What is WS doing in a science city - Thats just not right.
16 - Pacificm is good with philosophical leader - if not i would usually run OR / theocracy depending on need.
i would like to add for the suggested style of play which is wonder building / GP chasing + religion based economy Financial is not the best trait - Industrious / Philosophical / spiritual would be what is best suited.
