Spain: Charles V
Power = Spainish Main; overseas cities prduce double the amount of gold
Unique = Conquistador; replaces knight, moves 6 spaces when embarked and counts as a military naval unit.
Unique = Galleon; Replaces Frigate, does not require iron and costs 50% less to buy.

Austria: Francis I
Power = Metternich Order; +20% unhappiness for population, Free Courthouse in annexed cities and +10 happiness for liberating a nation (lost if the freed nation gets conquered).
Unique = Frontiersman; replaces Musketman, + 1 Line of Sight, enemies that move into an adjacent tile take 1 damage (2 damage max).
Unique = Habsburg Palace; Replaces Opera House, + 1.5 culture and + 1 gold maintenance.

Italy: Cosimo DiMedici
Power = Rebirth; during renaissance era +50% culture and +50% great Person Generation
Unique = Conditorri; Replaces Longswordsman, cost 120, produced with both money and hammers and 15 strength
Unique = Florentine school; replaces University, +50% science and free scientist and artist.

Viking: Herald III
Power = Vinlandsaga; all Military Naval Units and embarked units can enter ocean upon research of compass, +1 Line of sight for Military Naval units.
Unique = Raider; replaces Swordsman, gain gold from damage, start with amphibious.
Unique = Longboat; replaces Galley, +1 movement, can attack land tiles to pillage them.

Sounds good, are your goal to implement this or is this a finished mod?
 
Am I correct in assuming that the Viking UA only applies to military ships and not to embarked units?
