I reboot and get the Steam heavy load error.

Maybe if the Steam store were able to load, thus not being under heavy traffic, the download would happen after rebooting?

BNW is shown under "downloadable cotent" but that is all.

I restart steam yet still now download.

Can't activate BNW under the DLC menu? I'm still downloading, I can't test it myself.

BNW appears on the list, disabled. But if I enable it, nothing happens. I tried to reset steam, but still gk.

Have restarted Steam twice now, validated my game files through Steam and have tried to start the game both from the Steam Store page, Steam Game List and the icon on my desktop.
Nothing.

same here. but if i rightclick my civ5 in steam i can open properties -> dlc and there it shows

My game loads now 900 mb.

BNW is not in my DLC menu either, but in store it sais its purchased and play button is activated, still takes me to GK. nothing is downloading, restarted steam too..

I just rebooted my PC, started steam instantly, it downloaded 1.6MB, started Civ5, now got the BNW screen after the intro!

Yay!!!

It seemed to be downloading for me for a while, then stopped with a heavy server load, and now I can't do anything to get it to start again.
