End of Empires - N3S III

What is it that you people seek? Why do you attack our lands? It is not wise to strike the followers of Opporia, and Krato is the mightiest of them all.

To: The Church of Iralliam
From: The Chiefs of Krato

Agreed. Together we will bring stability and peace, ushering a new age of peace and prosperity for all Opporians.

OOC: Kal, do you have MSN?

Apologies, Darkening. I'll give you four bonuses... Don't know into what yet.

No apologies needed. And good luck figuring out where; that's a job I seriously wouldn't want :).

We have been driven to your lands by the evil realm of Ndeos, ruler of the upper reaches of the Yensai. We merely wish to protect our own people, as surely you do as well. We would be willing to convert to your religion and would pledge alliegiance to you with all of our warriors should you let us settle in the north of your country.

We are willing to allow you to settle to our north. We are glad to see that you have pledged your allegiance. We will do our best to protect you from this menace to the north, just as long as you convert to Iralliam.

Now please, could you tells us of the evil Ndeos? Perhaps we may need to prepare for an assault if they decide to follow you here. And if they are weak, we may destroy them, and then you could return to your homes, bringing Iralliam, the true faith with you.

The Ndeos are lords and masters of the middle jungle; they come from the side of a great lake and conquer their neighbors fearlessly. Their great chieftain Sanga is said to be invincible in battle, carrying a shield protected by evil spirits. We would be most willing to guide your soldiers should you intend to subdue them.

We will follow your guides to the Ndeos, but we will inspect this threat. If you have any maps of the the area you have fled, please allow us to see them. We must know our enemy before we devise a plan on how to defeat them.

Pray tell, what is a map?

OOC: Nice try. :p

To: The Twe

It is a drawing of the world, as if you are a great bird flying in the sky. Our people will teach you many things, map making one of them.

OOC: Curses, foiled again! :p
Also, on your map there is a giant blocky thing off to the east that I think isn't supposed to be there.

To: Krato
From: the Twe

We shall try to show you the world, but we only know it as the fish and deer do. You shall have to consult the birds yourself.

OOC: Ahh, yes, you people discovered the cuboidal continent sooner than I thought. >_> That's obviously a mistake.

Greetings, we haven't traded in the north in recent years, we would like to reintroduce ourselves, we are the Trilui, the Masters of the Seas, and would like to reopen our ancient trade routes with the northern nations. The Aya'se had plotted against the Trilui Empire, that is why they were attacked and therefore destroyed. However, we would like to reopen trade the north-south trade routes as fast as possible to reduce the downturn created by the vacuum. It will mutually benefit all of us.

Hail, Trilui, famed empire of the southern seas! We welcome your return to the north as enemies of the perfidious Sesh who have long plagued the Kern Sea with their presence. The Light guide you, and the Darkness be kept at bay.

We are glad to have heard in the past that your people see the might of righteousness and the sins that brought upon the Darkness. We ask only that our acolytes be allowed to preach in the lands of Trilui, particularly among the people long ruled by the Sesh who have fallen into Darkness and despair and now wrongly worship earthly beings who once lived. Trade may flourish between us, and the seas are always open to those who come with open hands for peace.

Traders bring us news of wars and strife far to the south of our great island. We feel that our two nations should join together as one state of Ederrun people so that we may be stronger should attackers venture our way. We must make our ancestors proud of our might in the face of danger. Would you come under the banner of Kedoy? We shall openly accept you as brothers if so.

Ferman can agree to trade with the merchants of Trilui. May our nations prosper from the seas.

Thlayli, I'm still waiting for your promised envoys. There had better be a lot of gifts and kowtowing. ;)

*Finally finds time to read the update and proceeds to do so*

EDIT: One thing that seems suspect, on the map: why/how do the Faron (weren't they Farou, by the way?) still occupy a stretch of hostile desert territory in the south? Or is it more a matter of their forces having passed there last?

Also, am I to assume that the far north of Bisria has devolved back into primitive Hafnid tribes?

Another mishap in the stats, there are 2 stats for Kardil. The first one seems like it should belong to Ishanbi.

The Farou changed to the Faron, some sort of linguistic shift.

The Kedoy were the wayward tribe. We would be happy to accept you back into our nation.

(OOC: With you still holding most of the political power; it's purely a desire to maintain face.)

The name switch is intentional.

As for the desert: there's hardly enough Hu'ut troops to retake the strip right now with everything else they're doing, so for now it's (nominally) under Faron control.

Also, am I to assume that the far north of Bisria has devolved back into primitive Hafnid tribes?

More like brigands. I don't know why you guys assume a state in the center of the cradle occupying a key trade route between the two main river valleys would somehow still have tribes. The Hafnids were gone long ago.

There are two countries with the name Kardil if I remember correctly.

It is, however, good that he pointed it out, as the northern Kardil should be dead by now.
