I'm having an issue where i can't choose a production, so i can't get past turn 1. I'm going to do you a favor and try to work it out myself, but i decided to mention it here just in case there's already a solution.

Calling it a favour might be a bit strongly worded :p I can't be held entirely responsible for a user's mod lists. But I'm guessing you're using a mod which also edits the city view - the only things I can think of off the top of my head are Health and Plague and the CBP: either of these? A quick solution will be to delete the Shared/UI/Vanilla folder (not positive of the address, as I'm not on my modding laptop, but it's something like that).
 
How would not having a city view as introduced by ExCE impact on the gameplay? I really would like to play with Health and Plague one day, but I'm not sure if it wouldn't accidentally prevent me from doing stuff introduced by ExCE, for example.

The ExCE city view (EUI or non-EUI versions) is required for Colonies to function (otherwise it'll just act like a regular puppet, but with restricted buildings and units). There is a H&P compatible version of the non-EUI city view in ExCE's files, however. Once Colonies is out, I'll be including installation instructions in the OP for EUI and H&P (though the two cannot be used together - which is down to FramedArchitect or bc1).
 
Will Colonies work with worldbuilder? For example, if I want to make a scenario about the colonization of the Americas would I be able to place down colonies like a normal city?
 
I decided to play with JUST this mod to see if my problem was fixed. It wasn't. So the mod is stopping me from producing anything for some reason.

I'm playing with a mod that alters trading posts and it's making it impossible to upgrade the new "feathers" resource. Do you think there's a (simple) way I can make this resource be improved by a camp at trapping, for instance? What should I edit?

Also, would it be possible to recolor the birds? Stactic resources are one thing, but animated ones...I don't know. Thanks. Incredible mod, by the way.

I'm having an issue where i can't choose a production, so i can't get past turn 1. I'm going to do you a favor and try to work it out myself, but i decided to mention it here just in case there's already a solution.

I encountered such a bug when I was messing around with my version of CSD. Specifically, I tried enabling the old CSD with the new CP (though it works fine with all the new versions and 'enabler').
 
How would not having a city view as introduced by ExCE impact on the gameplay? I really would like to play with Health and Plague one day, but I'm not sure if it wouldn't accidentally prevent me from doing stuff introduced by ExCE, for example.

EUI shouldn't be a a problem for me - I disable TopPanel usually, and I don't think H&P alter anything more.


I discovered Health and Plague shortly after it was released, and I haven't been able to play without it; it's just so obvious a game element to me. Anyhow, I've managed to get Health and Plague, P+P, ExCE, AND EUI to play together just fine. In the past I'd had to deal with deleting, modifying, or merging LUAs, but with the latest version of H+P (15), it seems that all that's necessary is a proper load order.

Right now what seems to be working for me is loading the CP DLL first (seems to be important that this is done in order as well), then CulDiv followed by P+P, then ExCE, and finally H+P.

User experience may vary, it's worth noting that I have 8gb of mods so it's become a veritable soup of code, and who knows how that concoction manages to hold itself together and interact. Obviously as someone else that is desirous that all of these wonderful things work together, I'd be very interested to see how everyone else gets on with them. Good luck!

The promotions my units have are invisible. This may be because I deleted the colony folder since it's not complete and signs of colony stuff is still in the game (txt_key stuff in the city view)
 
I decided to play with JUST this mod to see if my problem was fixed. It wasn't. So the mod is stopping me from producing anything for some reason.

Camps are rigidly tied to the resource on which they are improved, so not really (every other improvement will still produce a graphic wen placed on a resource; this just an invisible camp) - otherwise I certainly would've. Point me in the direction of this mod and I can work out some support.

Re-coloured textures for the Feathers resource are included in the mod, but are just sitting there, because Firaxis hates pretty birds.
