How to uninstall?

If I want to uninstall Civ2 do I just delete the folder that it is in?

I can't find an uninstaller anywhere and there is no listing in windows Add/Remove programs.

Does Civ2 write anything into the registry?

As far as I know, you can just delete the folder.

CIV II is old, and I mean like, really old. I mean like, February 1996 old. That means it came into the game shortly after Win 95, so I doubt it does anything with the registry. IIRC, it's actually win 3.1 compatible, and it recognizes vista as an NT-type OS. Anyways, I concur, just delete the MPS directory.
