Could you try it, at first in a normal game with just 2 civs (france and england perhaps, I'm sure that those 2 are working).

Just make sure that the post industrial pack is activated after the main mod.
 
Hi Hulfgar,

I think it's something messed up with the DLCs and how they interact with your mods. Starting a game as England or France will sometimes work, but I think it's failing when a rival civ is picked from the DLCs (such as the Dutch, Babylonians or Polynesians). I can't seem to figure out how to uninstall/disable the DLCs--they appear to be ever present after installation.

For the logs below, I started a normal random/duel game, backed out to main menu. Then activated only the HIW Mod as France/duel game and got a good start, and backed again out to the main menu. I ran through the same process (with just the HIW Mod active), with France/duel game and crash again during the setup.

Hello Apache,

one is coming, with the last unit skins from Danrell, Jtitan and Bernie and a new concept for the holy war and the religious military units.
Probably with specific navy planes as well (an idea from Mossie).

I don't have a release date at this time because I have a crash and I'm still looking for the reason and I have less time for this than earlier.
But the mod will be updated.

Your mod sounds really interesting. Unfortunately I wasn't able to start it.

Civ5 + G&K and Red-Mod were installed.
First try I installed Industrial Warfare and Postmodern Addon. Mods were found in the mod-screen and I enabled them. But there were no changes to the game. Disabled Red and postmodern... no changes.

Second try: Deleted MODS-folder, put Industrial Warfare civ5mod file to the mod folder. Started civ5. The game didn't find the mod file... no changes.

Any ideas?

After a clean reinstall of the game I noticed that the industrial.civ5mod is only found if the second file is also in the folder. Mod is found in the game, installed without problems, but no changes to the game.

I just added 2 small mods (more xp from barbs, 5 units per tile). found in the mod screen, no effects to the game...
 
Hi - I'm new to the mod but quite interested. I really like your design elements / features

Is there anything I should know about the current status of the mod? I run Civ 5 on stem with G+K. I already have run into the issue that if you play on the earth map all the resources disappear, I presume this is an unfix-able problem, so I am about to try again on a continents random map.

Thanks again! I know making a mod is an unbelievable amount of work (I used to mod back in my college days) and I want to thank you for everything you (and all the modders) have done to make a relatively complete product.

Am very interested in trying out your G&K Industrial Warfare mod this weekend, and saw that the older CivUP + VEM combination mod is listed as being not compatible with your mod.

That's okay, since I no longer use that older Vanilla mod. However, do you know whether the newer standalone CivUP mod for G&K is compatible with yours?

no the mod is not compatible with CivUP and VEM, too much changes in both mods :(
 
For some reason every time I try to use this mod, using Ez7 after expanding it never shows the files in the folder. However, the post modern mod works. Any reason for this?

no there is no reason. Try to download it again or to use 7zip perhaps ?
 
Hi all,

after a very long time whithout playing Civ 5 I've found the time and the will to update the mod !

Version 8 is now ready as a beta for download.

Here are the changes in this version :

Balance/Game change :

Field Medics : a motorized unit with healing power, available with Refrigeration. Truck from Snafusmith.



Navy fighters : small bonus vs ships, shorter range than fighters, can land on carriers.
Now only Navy fighters and Divebombers can land on carriers. An idea from Mossie.

Reworked the Holy War and Religious Military Units :
The Holy War is now a National Wonder, upon completion it will grant 1 army of religious warriors (1 archer, 1 pikeman, 1 knight, 1 swordsman).
A Civ can have only 1 unit of each at any time but if a unit dies it can be rebuild with faith points.
Thanks to Danrell there is 5 ethnics skins for the religious soldiers.
The Holy War has a splash screen now.



Battheships get the 33% bonus vs cities back (removed from the game in a patch)

Bernie14's Great War skin pack 1,2 and 3
Arabia, Celts and Babylon Riflemen from Bernie14
Hungarian Hussard and Rifleman from Bernie14 added for Huns Civ.

For those who wish to play with an earth map here is a tip from o_de_winne :

for those interested. If you want to play an earth map, you can go around the bug that deletes the resources. First start a game without the mod. load it with an earth mod. then save the game, as a map (button: save map), name the map however you like. Then restart a game, selecting that map, and all resources are in place
I've not tried it yet so any feedback is welcome, as for anything regarding this mod.

Is there a way to use this mod with a TSL map that has fixed resources, but integrates your new resources with random placement. I tried doing it with world builder but the new resources would not show up.

If this doesn't work then there is no solution :(
