I have spent way to much time clicking just one more turn with this game.
I don't know if this comment was meant positive or negative, I guess the latest.
One of the biggest problems of civ5, and civ world too, is slowness.
Not only the software itself, but also gameplay.
In previous civ versions you could speed up gathering a required type of resource (gold, science, culture, production, etc)
by playing with the sliders or changing civics.
In civ5 you simply have to wait, because of the small numbers + small percentages and the inflexible policy system.
To the OP :
Is civ5 worth your time? Yes and no.
No, because if you like to think, to have multiple meaningful choices and to make decisions,
but most of all to see some serious progression, your brain you'll be bored really soon.
Yes, if previous civ versions have consumed a lot of your lifetime, try civ5 and your addiction is over.
