Is it possible to make the alarm setting stick?

minor issue to be sure, but just curious what others here think so I made a poll.

I love the alarm setting but hate having to go into the settings to reset it EVERY time i turn on the game.

if there is a way to make this setting memorable via an ini file - feel free to post solution here
