Hi!

Is there a civ v mod where the map has all kinds of maps?

It's kinda boring those one type maps...I'd like to play one map where one could find some continents, some archipelagos, some lonely islands...the more random the better

Here are some I would recommend you try:

Frontier(If you have G&K). Not sure if there would be any archipelagos in them, but they're neat maps imo, and I've seen them with three continents before.

Terra Incognita(mod). It's pretty old, and there may be something newer than it that does about the same thing. But it makes maps that are a good bit like terra maps, but it has a setting that lets civs start anywhere, not just in the "Old World".

Tectonics(mod). Mod I tried recently. Makes some pretty interesting maps I would think.

I got a 4 continent with small island chains with fractal. It's really random though, who knows what you could get. Small continents is also pretty good IMO.

I'll second Small Continents. Does tend to involve a few big landmasses and a few smaller ones spread across the map.

Shuffle Plus has the ability to randomly create all land types.
