is there a resolution hacker for Civ complete?

Care to elaborate? My wife is trying to work out how to fix the rez, she has a G4 PowerBook and doesn't appreciate 1024x768 on a cinema display (and I know I won't when I have to use it too).

When you are launching Civ3 Complete (or PtW) hold down the Command key to get the following dialog:

As you can see, I have it set to "Always display ... at startup" so that I can change my screen options if I want. I've snapped it with the resolution menu open so that you can see the options.

Ta Now she needs to get on my PC to create her .biq file, I imagine....

Uh-huh... she calls it "Civ for Short Attention Spans". Most units have at least +2 movement. Game balance doesn't really come into it.
