Hi all......

Apologies if this has been answered already - I did check here and Google!
I'm about to give some dosh to a (friendly) neighbour, and I was just wondering if there's a minimum amount before it has an effect. Is there some kind of table/sliding scale? The default amount is 100gp - so I'm going to go for 40, cheap-ass that I am....any thoughts?

40 is about the price for an open border agreement with a neutral apparently, at least tha's what they offer in return.

If you offer them a normal trade deal first, you probably get an idea of the relative value of your intended gift...
