The python erros in general sound like if somewhere was a description of an unit/leader/civ/whatever missing, but hell, no idea where.

Game crashes on the first turn could be everything, including missing art. Normally i suggest that you revert your last changes and then go step by step, but that would mean that you remember them.
At this point it would be a good idea to check the civilopedia, if you can see all the things in there, especially units and leaders.

And another question: You say you don#t get any python erros -> are they activated? If no / no idea: Take a look at your normal BtS .ini file and activate them there.



Oh, and important lesson from that point: Always make a backup before you're doing lots of things.

I have a backup, but i made a stupid mistake, when testing out to make sure everything works i do a quick custom game with 2 civs, so chances are it wouldnt get the error, its probably a LH. And i dont have them activated, i will now

If the python exceptions are activated, you should click on every civilopedia main category at least once, it might happen that you get an exception, which is then a hint that something in that category is wrong.

Does this mod here have a custom .dll file?
 
why don't you just keep it like CIVILIZATION_AMERICA and CIVILIZATION_ENGLAND instead of switching the rest?
anyway it is most likely in deriterative civ at the bottom of each civ.

It was and i switched it because my base mod was GEM and it has both America and USA so i decided to keep USA because of LH flags and buttons.

I fixed it but the python still doesnt work :mad:
That was jsut an xml fix

and i did the civiliopedia thing, no errors?!

As i said that was it, im aware of that and that was the problem, i fixed it, but unfortinatly it did not fix the python problem

with python i cannot help you :(
thats why i stick with XML and leave the python out

Hey joischuck, welcome to theforums, i appologize, you didnt do anything wrong, but the mod is currently not working, i am having problems with python, i put that next to the pything link that its still crashing, you didnt do anything wrong, it goes to BTS, ill have it up and running as soon as possible!
