Here's where everyone settled. Lots of variation. A lot more than usual. I hope you enjoyed finding your optimum spot for your goals.

The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

Thanks for the game @kcd_swede

Another eye popping score from Bemep!

I had a shot at fastest cultural - well done @Powerfaker for a competitive time there. Did you have a 'gp farm' as one of your three legendary cities or they were split commerce/production?

@Jimmy Thunder
Hey, surprised I won this. I estimated you slightly faster, since you started much earlier to bump culture up. Appreciated that you didn't mention your win date in your report. Good for some suspension.
The capital and my 2nd city (flood plains+gold/copper location) were all cottaged and did a little bit of wonder building. I also concentrated cathedrals here first.
3rd city was Bibracte, did the heavier wonder building then got some cathedrals later and was transformed to farms+Artist specialists. So 3rd city required most culture bombing, I think 9, the other 2 required 3 each (on the turn the 15th artist was born, many more cities helped achieve this).

Congrats to Bemep chaining the gold medals in the latest BOTM's, with impressive scores I might add.

Very nice score, Bemep42! Beat only in terms of winning date by a solid Conquest from Jovan Kukic!

NickTrofimuk also pulled off a competitive Military Victory date! You must have a really nice computer setup, since your Time Played amount is insanely quick.

A strong Space date from smiregal beat out a number of competitors!

Nice Cultural dates from both of Powerfaker and Jimmy Thunder! In the past, Cultural Victories in the 1600s used to be considered as strong games, while the both of you managed to win in the 1400s!

Congrats to mscellaneous and antimony for braving the Challenger saved game and winning!

Special shout-out to MarleysGh0st and zbgayumn for playing my favourite Award-earning strategy: playing for unlikely Victory Conditions that no one else earns!

Oh, and donsig, what happened? No Ambulances? You decided to win, for a change! :)

I was kind of proud of my space date....but to get schooled by almost a century....it kind of hurts.

I replayed this map several times trying to get a better date, including from previous advantageous saves....but none of my attempts came close to smiregal's submission. Oh well....maybe next time. :cowboy:

Yeah, same here... I was feeling really pleased with myself that I'd finally managed to get a pre-1700AD space win, albeit on noble level and a pretty easy map: Turns out my date was one of the slowest!
