No diplomacy in CivRev

Everytime I try to enlist the help of another Civ to deal with an aggressive Civ, they never do anything. Anyone else notice that there seems to only be diplomacy in name in the game.

True, but when facing players who are getting lots of offensive units to press you, it's handy to have an ai attack them to give you some breathing space.

Of course they don't do much, but it's a good way of distraction (quite costly tough)
