1. If I join a game with a "known" ping, I get booted out of the loading screen, back into the lobby room, with an error message saying that the player I was trying to contract/establish a connection with didn't (or was it may not?) have proper firewall configurations.

2. If I join a game with an "unknown" ping, I get booted out of the loading screen after I'm stuck in there for a long ass time (while "Contracting Host"), back into lobby room, with an error message saying that "The Connection Attempt To The Host Has Timed Out."

Different Solutions I've Tried but obviously Did not Solve the Problem:

Added the following ports in the "exception list" in my firewall in my Local Area Connection properties:

* 6667 (IRC)
* 2033 (Civ4)
* 2056 (Civ4)
* 47624 (Directplay)
* 3783 (Voice Chat Port)
* 27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
* 28900 (Master Server List Request)
* 29900 (GP Connection Manager)
* 29901 (GP Search Manager)
* 13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
* 6500 (Query Port)
* 6515 (Dplay UDP)
* 2300-2400 (DirectPlay - UDP)

I have also reset my router and connected to it after resetting it... Under "Port Range Forwarding," I tried forwarding some of the ports listed above... BTW, my router is LINKSYS model BEFSR41.

Any help is APPRECIATED! THANX!
