man... religion is the biggest addition is civ in my opinion... and in this mod (as ecstacy filled as it is <3) doesn't really do nothin for it. Thats okay life is sweet. ^^ Good mod.
Indeed not. I haven't found any religion mod yet that really inspires me! Even my own little play mod wouldn't really fit well into this one.
Anyway: New patch being released: 2.9-B
-Fixes ALL the city screen issues (slowness, display probs, etc)
-Fixes Tech Tree selection problem
-Fixes missing leaderhead portraits
-Fixed multiple python issues & errors from 1.61 update
-Fixed "TC: X" popup
-Fixed floating military freighter (it was a "hovercraft", duh!)
-Captured slaves now captured as slaves. If you're not a slaver, they'll be freed.
-Fixed Evolution providing ten billion specialists
-Changed Teuta to Seafaring, Progressive
-Added "onUnitCreated"/"onUnitBuit" checks to Nationalistic trait; units now have nationalism as soon as they are created instead of after moving (good idea Shqype!)
-Fixed problem with Settle religion
-Fixed problem with some units having pink circles for graphics
Still to fix:
-Forest Chops not providing hammers. I don't even know where this problem is arising yet. Hunting...
-Dutch flag change
-Adding Religious victory (we'll try it out)
-Military advisor still non-functional
-Crash to disk??
I have a question for you guys on the crash to disk issue. I understand based on some feedback I've gotten that at least one player was getting CTD's because he was using a copy of the original CivIV disk.
As I understand the legality of copies, it IS legal to make a copy of a game you own as a backup and play with it so long as you do in point of fact own the original game and you don't use both the copy and the original at the same time. Anyway, apparently the copy disk was causing a load of CTD's, but when he swtiched back to the original disk they stopped.
So, just curious if any of you can confirm CTD's with the original game disk? This problem is getting more and more elusive; especially since we've now established that a "crash" save game file can be reloaded and played by other players without problems and by even the same computer without problems!
