[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

Espionage
Keep EP on SB, steal gold as soon as it's possible.
Counterespionage mission on T216 would be a lot better than more :gold: based on our current situation.

Diplo
T216
Sell Peter Aluminum for 6:gold:/turn
Sell Peter Chemistry for 180:gold:

T217
Bribe Bismarck into Representation. I bribed him into Free Market on T214

All demands from the friendly 3AI will be accepted.
Any Peter demand will probably be rejected since we have +20 diplo and he has enough advanced techs.

Any demand for civic or religion changes will be denied.
Any demand for :gold: will be discussed with team

Never trade France Liberalism unless they demand it (-2 diplo for refusal)
On T216 we should trade France Gunpowder, Constitution, and Physics so they are ahead of Arabs on scoreboard.
Without France we only have a 1 or 2 vote cushion, so any easy +diplo we can get with Louis to widen the gap with Russia is worth it.

T221: Results announced, revolt to Organized Religion
Yes, make sure to revolt to Org. Religion before uploading
Bring the Home Slices home Mitchum! :salute:

Our buildings look like they will match the game requirements in the game announcement as long as we chop a Lab in Science City T220.
And chop a Drydock in Silver City too.

I got delayed. I will finish it tomorrow.

I got your comments, Kait, and agree with all of them. I will update the PPP accordingly.

I'll play until T219 and upload. This will give people a chance to check the save and ensure that we're set up to finish the game BEFORE T220 which is when I call for the diplo victory vote. I don't want to mess anything up by not finishing a key building due to some overlooked MM detail.

Everything looks good.

The 5 chops will give 150:hammers: and 262/250:hammers: after the 75% multiplier for Lab in Science City.
2 chops in Silver City will certainly finish Drydock.

Vote looks good, we should have a nice cushion thanks to France.

Once we win, just have to revolt to Org. Religion and upload.

Yay! Everything went as planned all game long! We just had a horribly misguided plan.
It was fun. Great execution. Great finish Mitch! :goodjob:

Before we read what the other teams did, based on what we know now, what would the best strategy have been for this game? VC, World Wonders, settling order/timing, etc.
Probably religious as much as I hate that 10 turn timer. The AP hammers woulda been nice, but we couldn't resist Civil Service from Oracle.
UN should work too. Nice thing about it is you can end the game exactly when Superconductors comes in.
Academies++, Not obsoleting Monasteries and crippling Sankore++.
The real key to this game was cooperation. Free tech from the AI. We were so close to going with 'kill em all' which woulda been a huge mistake, huger than the medicine mistake.

Well done, all ok. Great effort but unfortunately for you, as you surmised, Phoenix Rising finished 10 turns in front of you with the AP. They also libbed Superconductors ....

You may read the other threads now but please do not post in Unusual Suspects or Indecisive who are still playing.

There is a bunch of analysis in the Lurker Thread and we will welcome your thoughts there when you are ready.
