Minor comment...the Abbasid Horseman attack animation flickers in my game. He momentarily disappears from the screen.

EDIT: I don't see it on the diagonal attack, only when the combat occurs left-to-right.

Man, I've been busy plotting all these new guys into my scenarios.

Sandris- Is there an Archer that goes with the Bedouin set by chance? Am I missing something here? I just realized that..

Actually I found that one or two of my own archers, such as the Kanem-Bornu Archer, go quite well with Sandris' Bedouins.

I hadn`t made any Bedouin archers, just because there have already been made excellent Plotinus` archers such as Kanem-Bornu and Sudanese archer.

The Ilkhanate ("subordinate Khanate") was indeed centered in Persia but was a Mongol Khanate established by Hulagu, so whether it was Persian or Mongol is somewhat debatable.
