Textures Suck

I can hardly plan Civ4 just because it looks horrible in 3d. Are there any mods that make it a little more pleasant? I miss the 2d graphics.

Blue Marble has helped me to stomach the graphics, but I still feel compelled to modify those ugly mountains and deserts by removing them or putting nuclear contamination on them which gives them a beautiful alpenglow or khamsin effect.

Actually, that would be pretty cool; if you could modify the fallout so it looked sorta 'white' and have it show up on mountains... mabe only on northerly mountains cos it might slow things down...

whats the graphics level youre playing? is it all on High and the Detailed Textures is picked?
