What is the transparent colour/transparency of the forums exactly?

The reason i ask is because my avatar is a picture of the Esper Wizard Rune from PSIV and I wanted him to appear without the green background.
To do this I wouldnt need to set the background colour to whatever the transparency of the forums is.

Follow that at all?

Wouldn't you just set the back ground to being 'tranparent' and it will 'disappear' and become the color of the forum?

You wouldn't set him to the transparency setting of the forum, but of the palette of the picture.

I was thinking I'd fix it for you, but photoshop refuses to touch the file. "Not a valid GIF file".

Edit: You seem to have some unintended line-breaks in your signature, BTW.

You don't need to know that info to make transparent GIF images. As you know, we have a few layouts with different color schemes.
