Uninstall game but keep mods?

If I uninstall Civ V, but will want to reinstall it in the future, is there a way to keep the mods and DLC and maps that I've downloaded? Can I put them in a backup folder for now and then put them back in the Civ folder upon reinstall?

Yep. All your mods will be in ...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS (if there's anything in ...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\ModUserData take a copy of that as well, as it's the config settings for mods), any maps you've created will be in ..\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps. For DLC (I assume you mean EUI), you'll need to check its install instructions and backup whatever you've changed.

Then when/if you reinstall Civ V, just copy it all back

So I don't need to copy C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC also?
