Upgrading your units in AI territory

Confirmed. On the turn following the beginning of the save file, a Siamese Infantry enters Hanoi territory and can be upgraded to Mechanized Infantry. An embarked Siamese Infantry is also in Roman territory and can be similarly upgraded. Both the manual and the Civilopedia state that a unit must be in your territory to be upgraded. This is either a bug or a documentation error. Thanks for posting this.

I am at war with Edinburgh. My spearman is within Edinburghs borders and I have the option to upgrade it to a pikeman. I dont expect to have the option to upgrade in unfriendly territory.
