Hi

Can someone give me an UPDATED view on getting Vox Populi to work for multiplayer? Does it work with multiplayer? Is it stable?

Thanks

I, uh, gave you the most relevant links I think.
Well, I suppose I can be a bit more thorough.

Most important: https://civ-5-cbp.fandom.com/wiki/Creating_a_Modpack These instructions are correct so at most you might have trouble navigating something. It's quick and easy.
https://forums.civfanatics.com/forums/community-patch-project.497/ There's the VP forum you should be looking in.
https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/new-version-may-19th-5-19.646024/ The newest version you'd want for your modpack. Make sure you have all the DLC and aren't subscribed to the workshop version of the community patch/more luxuries.
Alternatively, you can use someone else's modpack (somewhat outdated). https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/vp-modpack-magnus-mutatio.639974/ You extract it to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC as the default install.

Haven't tried it in a long while but I think it's still unstable. Not sure if it's still the same case but disabling barbs was the most common answer to lowering desyncs. Otherwise less players and ai civs is what I remember led to relatively stable games.

Yeah, thanks. Can't be bothered with this though. What I was hoping for was a finished MP enabled modpack. I've done this before in the past and it just leads to alot of headache. Thanks, though.

Use the last link then. Simply extract it to Civ's Assets\DLC folder as I said. It works like official DLC so make sure everyone put it in the right place and start a multiplayer game as usual. The author of the modpack said he'll give it some time for hotfixes before making one for the latest VP version(current off by one version, barring latest hotfixes). It even links to install instructions. Besides VP it seems to only add UI mods.

Edit:
Actually has multiple packs, so you have your choice on whether you want the UI changes.

Make someone a DLC from the latest version of the mod. And tell me which file contains the texts of the descriptions of the policies bonuses. I want to translate it into my own language.

The main problem is that if I play in my own language, then all new texts are replaced except for the descriptions of policies. How to fix it? I know a little English, but the game still shows vanilla policies.
