Was listening to The Obsessed this weekend after hearing one of their songs in an episode of Orphan Black, of all places. The bassist later went on to Josh Homme's band Kyuss. Wikipedia also names The Melvins, who I love, as an "associated act" but I can't figure out what the connection is, besides their sludgy, early-'90s sound and general contempt for hygiene.

Alright, [fudge], now I have to listen to some Melvins too. King Buzzo!
