Why always American civs?

Hi all.

Quick question, why do I always end up on worlds with American civs? I mean as the majority of civs, rather than a more even mix of culture groups.
Is there some bug or setting I have hit?
Is it just random chance that I have hit on a long run of ending up beside America, Aztecs, Maya, Inca and Iroquois, minus 1, in a run of about a dozen games in a row?

Does this happen anybody else?

This is the Cultural Linkage bug.

If you play with all-Random Civs, you need to turn off "Culturally linked starts" in the 'Choose Your Civ' setup screen, or you will always get the American Civs as opponents. And since there are 5 of them, on a Small or Tiny map, they will take up all the available slots.
