Working my way through the X-Box achievements for Civ Rev. One is to win having just one city. Before I waste time having the AI take back all my cities except one, do you need to ONLY have one city all game to accomplish this, or just end the game with only one remaining? Thanks in advance.

I dont know what it says about taken cities, but you are not allowed to build more than one city, in order to get that achievement. So if you have already built more than one city, then it would just be waste of time to let the AI take your other cities.
I hope someone else knows if its allowed to take the AI's cities. I doubt it though.

You can conquer and culture flip cities and still take the one city challenge. I always forget if the important thing is don't build settlers or if it's don't settle settlers you have (like the free one or if you snatch one from the AI). But anyway, you can also play the Mongols and get a bunch of barb cities. If you get a nice map, it's pretty easy.
