We have reached the land of Mechanos. We thank the locals for their hospitality.

We have been mining this tunnel for long weeks. As the work progressed the air was getting hotter and sulfuric fumes started to irritate our nostrils, so we knew we were getting close to an underground river of magma. Our destination was near. Finally, one day our picks revealed the space behind the granite wall, and our tunnel became illuminated with a dim light. Seemingly we found the complex of old dwarven chambers we were looking for. Praising Kilmorph we rushed to the interior. To our surprise in the middle of the room, between two magma pools, we saw a dwarf's body laying on the floor. It was the dwarven maiden from our clan, who got lost in the Underdark some months ago. She was still alive, but unconscious. And visibly pregnant.

It does, but I have not touched the Gates. You will learn in due time.

A barbarian hero Orthus has appeared. The Seeing Eye localizs him near the lands of Mechanos.

We claimed a goblin fort! It will allow us to control the Goblin River valley.
Also, our adventuring band noticed Pepin's track. We hope his body will be found soon.

We have lost a warrior to animals, and think we have located signs of Pepin that our friends The Dwarves of Khazad can use...X marks the spot using the All Seeing Eye. Ortus has been spotted very near to Mechanos borders and the militia has been roused to respond to the joint threat of Lizardmen and he.

We send news of the border changes to the All Seeing Eye of The Wizards.

'Sire' his advisor said hastily 'the girl found in the mines has just given birth to three boys.'
Thane stood still in astonishment. Twins were extraordinary in dwarven society, the written history records only two or three such cases. But triplets? This was the first occurrence ever.
'At first, a priest who assisted in the delivery considered them all dead. They were mute and numb and most importantly - they did not breathe. But then, to our surprise, one by one, all three infants opened their eyes.' The advisor continued as in a trance. 'It was a real miracle, praise Kilmorph, but...' he sighed 'the mother died soon after that. As loud as she was screaming during delivery, that quiet she remained while passing away... except...'
