1. A possible bug - checking if it's just me, or whether I should file a bug report on Github: Train stations. I seem unable to build them in the majority of my cities, especially my capital. And no, I have not built a seaport first. Could it be that something else blocks them, too? Like...
I tend to use mostly UI / ease of use mods, not looking to change / turbo-charge VP, so haven't even tried custom civs nor 3rd/4th Unique Components.

Fully agree (with you and the other posters) - Tutelary Gods,provides lacklustre faith; to found with it, you really need to get up the shrines fast, and you need a few cities >3. On King, it works, on higher difficulties, maybe not.

God of Nature: For Inca.
Goddess of Protection: As a fallback if I don't know what to take (as late pantheon)
Don't like:
- Earth Mother: sounds ok but plays meh.

I'd also like to see tiny islands being excluded (from spawning or from counting towards the limit) - anything >3 island size should be ok for a first test.
