[TSL] Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack

I have two small problems using this map set I couldn't find an answer for. I use Huge Earth as my map. 1. Civs that are too close to another never settle even if there are suitable spots nearby as their settler never moves from the starting position. I reduced min city range to 2 but as...

    Quarry outside culture boarders

The AI builds the normal resource development inside a city cross. If the ressource is outside any city's range but inside their cultural borders, they build a fort.

    BUG? Worldwide Strategic Resource Shortage

Honestly, I think there must be something wrong with the mapscript/on map generation. Because you basically rolled a 0 on an 11-sided-dice twice for each of the ressources you only got 1 of. And that is pretty unlikely. The iRandApp values should always produce at least a few of each of those...

    BUG? Worldwide Strategic Resource Shortage

From Civ4-Wiki: iConstAppearance = Percentage, once the number of bonus resources to place is calculated, it is mulitplied by this percentage. Note, once there are no more valid plots on the map, no more resources will be placed. If this value is set high, typically the iUnique value will...

What to buy to speed turn times

I can't say for sure, but afair the ram that can be used by civ is limited anyway and the extra 4 gb would be of no or little use. And for the processor: Since civ can't use multicores (as you noted yourself - one core takes most of the load) it would probably be better to use a powerful...

    Version 2.6 discussion

To be exact: Coastal tiles have 2, ocean tiles have 3 movement cost. Later units and a promotion have the ability to "ignore terrain movement cost" though, so that you can get the "standard" movement in later eras.

    All unhappiness generating Civics.

    Version 2.x bug reports

The "Elite Swordsman" quest needs fixing. It expires with the Medieval Era but for the needed Swordman you need Guilds(which, I think, belongs to the Medieval Era). So it expires before you can even build them.

    Building shaft mines

I think it's both. You need a certain technology (don't know which) and then you can build a shaft mine on ressources only.

Electric Railroad- What is it good for?

You can build it without coal or oil.

    Religions mod for RoM 2.5/2.62

Two general things I noticed: 1. In the description on the download site you describe a lot of the changes to religious buildings as "+1 gold" where in the game it is actually "+1 commerce". Just a wrong description or was your intention for these bonuses differently (especially since...

    Religions mod for RoM 2.5/2.62

In my game of RoM 2.5 at least, the Pyramid of Eagle is the Nagualism Cathedral. In the info-popup description (the only thing that seems to work with the PoE) it even shows with your modification of -25% anger for sacrifice. So something like that must exist? I also realised now that I don't...

    Strange Loading Error

Only thing I can add: I had the same error with 2.62 megapack and there seemed to be no cure for that. I have since gone back to 2.5.

    Religions mod for RoM 2.5/2.62

While playing my first game with the Relgions mod (RoM 2.5) it seems that I have encountered an error with the Pyramid of Eagle. 1. It seems to be missing a picture/icon. In the build-popup at the start of the turn it shows up in the list as button with the "Pyramid of Eagle (3)"-text...

    Troubles with building upgrades

I have to admit: So far I haven't found those building upgrades to be too useful. Some of my issues with them (compared to just having separate buildings with prerequisites): 1. It is harder to figure out what a new building actually does. When I first played RoM the whole upgrade thing...
