Yes,
The game was very instructive. Knowing that everyone was watching made me pay attention a lot more closely than I usually do. Thank you Lee.
It also just worked out that this game finished right when I got PS2. So, I won't be as active in Civ anymore. It's a bit too engrossing...
Set science to 0.
Buy ROP with Spaceship Civs.
Trade for as many techs as you can for gpt.
Raze their capitals using ROP.
All of your gpt deals will be cancelled.
If you are lucky, the other civs will switch to communism.
Hope the war goes well.
Set science to max and race for space...
I emailed the game and summary to Lee. There appeared to be some problem with the boards last night and this morning, so I couldn't post it. We are about 11 turns away from a space victory. Somebody just needs to spend about an hour finishing it up. Time wise I just couldn't see spending...
I got it and will play up to twenty turns (depending on time constraints). Just to let you know, I'm not going to micro everything, just going to move the game along as fast as possible. Look for a post tomorrow night, maybe Saturday moring pacific time as I'm going to the Angels game.

From your last post, it looks like you may not have...

I think unit rushing gives 25% of the shield value. I just disbanded a bunch of warriors and swordsman. They gave 2 and 7 shields respectively. (25% would have been 2.5 and 7.5 shields.)
In my current game I've been running 100% science and getting +150-400 gpt. I now have 26k gold and nothing worthwhile to rush. I'm saving my money in case my trades get axed during a war.
Sorry about being late. Here it is.
Turn 0: I really like Succession Games. It's like I get to start a new scenario every time it's my turn. Mostly everything was done this turn. I decreased lux to 0%. Ramped up research to 80%. Tweaked another 12 gpt and 48 science from the cities...
