So I kinda like the Archipelago map. However I also like to have alot of civs/citystates in game and unfortunally this doesnt work very well togheter. Is there anyway to easily fix a map script that uses the archipelago map but just adds more land?

Oh I would love this too! My favorite map is Lakes as well but the seas could definitely be bigger. How do you edit the PerfectWorld3 lua file exactly? The percentage of landmass in my file is set at 0.28 so I dont know exactly what would change for a 'Lakes' map where most (I'd say maybe...

You should have the option to micromanage everything and when you do, you will be given advantages that an otherwise automated system wouldnt give you. So there should be an option for complexity, the deeper the better.

The cynic in me tells me they intentionally left out obvious Civ-civs (like Spain) in order to cash in more on the naive customer base. Dont really care what Civ will be next though, the game has way bigger issues right now then the lack of playable civs.

One game I had my own isle on archipelago and one turn Alexander has like 6-7 embarked units at my border coupled with some triremes. They didnt do anything though, just idled for like 20+ turns and then went away. No DoW or insults, no nothing. Propably some bug with DoWing with embarked...

I said in the beginning that I realize that people like different things, so Im not trying to characterize people. That is why I pose the question (and also state my obviously biased theory) about the issue. How one can enjoy BtS and then claim that Civ5 is equally as good or even better(!)...

I like this idea. If 2k games contineously release new and fun Civs to play as DLC it can be a sure winner. However, doing this now? When the game is still in beta form? Thats an insult to every Civ fan out there, I really hope noone spend five bucks on this (even though its not alot) because...
