Success! I managed to install the mod. I made a few quick tests and so far all civilisations loaded successfully except for England. I tried several times with Elisabeth and the game always crashes to desktop.
EDIT: Austria also crashes. Just tried
Actually yes, I am running the game on a Mac with Steam installation. It is very complicated, though not impossible, to install mods on a game using Steam on a Mac. Many thanks!
How about spawning a settler and some units for Carthago after settling Tyros? Later on spawn Persian units to conquer Tyros and the capital will move naturally to Carthago.
Makes sense. That would be an awesome civ for aggressive players to try :)
I do not have a unique power selected yet but historically the empire has changed capitals a lot Phanagoria, Preslav, Pliska, Ohrid, Tarnovo, Sofia. So I was thinking maybe of a cheap Palace or reduced maintenance costs.
I would like to see Bulgaria on the new and bigger map.
The civilisation would start in 632 AD as Old Great Bulgaria where current Ukraine is. In 681 AD its core would move to the Balkans (similar to Phoenicia and Carthage). The challenges for the kingdom would be:

Hi NKN,
Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate someone made the effort to read that long post.
After thinking it through, I figured out there is an option for a Bulgarian slot without increasing the number of Civilizations in game.
Option 1: Make Byzantium as Rome rebirth once the...
Greetings to all DoC modders and fans.
I am new to the Civfanatics forums but I have been a regular civilization fanatic since I played my very first Civilization 3 game more than 10 years ago.
First of all, I would like to congratulate Leoreth for the amazing modmod developed! I haven't...
