[BNW] Rhye's Catapult 2020-06-02

I see.
I have never done it before... I need to figure out how to do it.
EDIT: I can't figure it out. Please help

Success! I managed to install the mod. I made a few quick tests and so far all civilisations loaded successfully except for England. I tried several times with Elisabeth and the game always crashes to desktop.
EDIT: Austria also crashes. Just tried

Rome also crashes to desktop for me at start
EDIT: Greeks crash too...

Now I wonder how many civs can start... I try them...

EDIT-2: I verify flies, try to see perhaps things to fix on my end...

I have just tried again to make sure and I run English and Austrian start with no problems.
I suspect that those crashes may be due to conflict to other mods. In that case, I do not guarantee regarding malfunctioning.

OK, so for me civs that start at turn 0 are OK, others crash - but I did it with the Community Patch added.
Now I try only Rhye's and clear chache, verify files...

Rhye, I have the game installed NOT at the default place on my drive - can it be a problem?
Should there be something in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets folder?
My civ is installed at C:\Steam...

Is anyone having trouble with Japan start? No other mods, clean install, keeps crashing to desktop on the loading screen? - or is it just me?

I'm sorry to write so much about my fails to play the mod but perhaps others have this too and I try to solve the mys(t)ery...
I played Vox Populi before with other mods - they are in the MOD folder. Also I have mods subscribed from Steam... can it be trouble?
I also always have "3 files" missing when checking Steam file verification...

i dont have the game crashing.
But when i play the game and load a save i made ( because i really suck at civ 5 ) all the techs dissapear and then I can research the ones i had in 1 turn.
does it have something to do with techtree.lua whatever that is?

I'm a little lost installing the mod to be honest. Probably this is because, apart from Vox Populi, this is the first mod I tried to install for Civ 5. In Civ 4, I used to just extract the mod, then load the mod from the main menu (or directly from the WBS), and then the game restarts and everything configures automatically. Now, after installing everything in the folder Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5, the mod folder being named MODS\Rhye's Catapult (v 32), I load the game, enable the mod and... nothing happens. I have no idea how to even get to the mod's starting screen . When I click Set up game and load a game, everything appears to be plain Civ 5: random starting location on the mod's earth map, 4000BC. Any help?

EDIT: never mind, figured it out.
