    Duration between turns

On my old comp, playing huge maps with 7 civs, i could wait up to3-4 minutes (sometimes even more) for the next turn. Boy was I motivated to play ! :crazyeye: :lol:

    Dancing bears???

seeing a demo I got the feeling they come at the end of the game as a reward. The better hou were, the greater the present. Dancing bears are one of them...

Civilization Revolution, Is it worth it?

It is not a civilization 5 or 4 1/2 or else, as there so good as no micromanagement, much less options (i.e. for starting a new game), but taking it as a different game, it is fun to play.

    Cultural Levels

the higher your cultural level, the wider the range of your city is. So if you want to exploit more, you'll have to extend your frontiers with a higher level. I don't know the ratio though.

    demo bug ? unlimited time

Hi everybody I've downloaded the demo and played it a few times. After (wasit 100 ?) turns, the demo simply stops. But once, playing Caesar, I just never got the "just 20 more turns left". I managed to have a win by killing everybody (I did go veeeeery slowly on them), I had time to get 3...

    CIV REV DEMO....First Thoughts

I like the roads too. Now there will be no more roads on every singl square on the map... Otherwise I quite liked the game though micromanagement definitely isn't here anymore. But it didn't prevent the "one more turn" thingy.. I think the demo has a bug. It is normally pretty short...

So my spaceship didn't make it...

I remember the first spaceships from the first civs. If you built more propulsion, the travel time was shortend. If you built more other stuff, the probability of succes raised. Here I've just noticed the traveltime indicated in the (bottom right ?) corner of the screen. I noticed that adding...

    Patching to 1.52?

if you don't want to have problem with patching, let the game do it itself.(it's in a menu on the first screen when you start the game)

How long is your typical Civ session

usually about 3 hours (instead of watching a film on TV...) But during the WE, like last one, I made some 10h straight, eating in front of the com... and about 30hs on 3 days...

    civs list

Hi I don't know if this is a bug or not, but it's strange. I played a game and wiped a civilization. In the list of civs with the points (bottom right of the screen) the civ name disappeared. Then I wiped 3 other civs (I had started the game for a diplo victory...:crazyeye: ) but the names...

    Inflation?

They even had such kind of problems in ancient Rome... The pb is not a new one. Juste my 2ps : nowadays, the amount of money (paper and coins) circulating is ridiculous compared to the total amount of money. So although the coins circulation has repercussions on the mocro-economics, it does...

Noob alert: I'm missing a basic element here.

You can let your city grow to the hapiness and health limit. Then, as Brighteye suggested, luxury goods and buildings help. If you still get to the limit, change some worked tiles to limit the amount of fodd (by working other tiles with less food) or create some specialists. This way you will...

    Combined Operations by the AI
