    I re-installed 3.17 (even though the game said it was 3.17 and check for updates said none were available) and now it works.

    I'm getting the same thing. Just got a new dell running XP, loaded the 3 civ games, patched the civ games, loaded FFH in the order they're listed on the other page... Mod: Fall from Heaven II 0.32 Patch: Patch "j" Media Pack: FfH2 0.32 media pack and it crashes on the start of turn 1...
