Yeah that wouldn't be too bad. Hope they can sink ships in one hit at least. ;p Speaking of missile cruisers, I noticed today that they don't fire nukes like they used to. Their attack animation does seem to be some kind of navy missile though.
Well, I decided to do some testing; and this being my first end-game, had to go with the nukes. :mischief:
So before starting the experimental culture nuking, Barbarossa has 279 domestic tourists, 20 of whom are visiting Gilgabro's theme parks, and he is producing 88 tourism per turn and 130.5...
In a culture victory, you're trying to attract more international tourists than any other nation has domestic tourists. So if you're doing well, your target number is probably a lot smaller than most of your competition's for this victory type. But say you want to make it even easier to hit an...
Add my name to the list of guys who played 1000+ hours of Civ5 without ever knowing about this queue feature until hearing people complain that it wasn't included in Civ6. :crazyeye:
Bahaha, I'll never forget my first lesson in Civ5 with submarines under the ice.... I always liked to check "Complete Kills" (which unfortunately doesn't appear to be an option in Civ6), and had just finished off an Atomic Era Germany's last cities in a brutal, although conventionally fought...
I love that you don't have to build some single use airplane for the early nukes, and that your regular bombers can carry both kinds of nukes. Always thought that's how it should be.
I used the crap out of them in Civ2 and Civ3 but in Civ5 when they couldn't doom stack they seemed kind of pointless... their damage output was also kind of underwhelming for the effort that you had to go through to load up a missile cruiser with em. If they add em, I hope they do em better.
I'm not sure cuz I'm not around my computer atm, but i am interested to see how different the modern units look beyond just paint jobs? they seem to have done a pretty good job keeping the medieval and earlier units looking unique where the details are concerned
I think that's exactly the mechanic the devs use to encourage war, actually - it's almost impossible to please all the civs all the time and those negative modifiers inevitably end with DOW
they represent what era that civ is in, and you can see your own leader head on there to compare with. I'm not sure if it's representative of the highest tech/civic researched or some kind weighted average
A lot of preorder AAA games let you download "preload" the game before the actual release date so when the release date happens you won't have to wait hours for the download to finish before you can actually play. Yay! :D
