Yes it does, it was good to keep a city flipping back and forth and farming the free city units.

Finally did this after clicking through many turns after victory. Turns out you need to have 5 promotions on the soothsayer, then a 4 promotion gdr. So to get to that, you need to come in 2nd in at least 5 appease the Gods contests then get the achievement on the 6th one.

May be an obvious question, but after you click "sacrifice adjacent unit" on the soothsayer, are you making sure to then click on the Archer to select it? They can be either adjacent or on the same tile, but you have to click on them!

I wonder if you could build the wonder in one of your cities, then after it's built gift the city to an AI, declare war, and raze it to the ground. Then re build the wonder in another city. Would be quite a way to win a Diplomatic victory...

Just send a builder to the city state and improve it for them. You'll accumulate it that way and can still stay as their suzerain.

Has anyone triggered Laurier's unique achievement? I'm having trouble triggering it. Peacekeeper - as Wilfrid Laurier successfully complete an emergency. In my game I completed probably 5 or 6 different emergencies with him and didn't trigger anything. Is it a bug or has anyone actually...

Look how many strategic resources they have at the end of that Hungary video! Around 60/70. It also cost 6 niter to upgrade into the Huszar, this probably reveals a bit about how the new unit maintenance system will work.
