    What is "The Great Mistake"?

I believe that they are keeping the "Great Mistake" kind of obscure. Sure, we will probably know generally what it is (my vote's on ecological degradation/global warming, as that's the fashionable apocalypse nowadays).

BNW "Configuring Game Data" Mod Crash

Hello guys. When I play Civ V with all expansions+DLC, and I load up mods, it says "Configuring Game Data" for a while then crashes. The only mod I am using is Gedemon's R.E.D, but I have PerfectWorld3 and BNW WASD Map Rotation. Help would be greatly appreciated.

What is your favorite BNW Civilization?

Brazil, but it's close. Even though Venice looks very fun and is the one everyone is talking about, I think that Brazil will be my favorite due to the synergy with my playstyle. Then again, I think building settlers is a chore and frequently hold off on them, Venice would be fun, so its kind of...

    Best leaderscreen

I really like the Shoshone. The only thing that could make it better is possibly an elk or buffalo herd in the background!

How excited are you for BNW release?

I am more excited for this than for any other game release EVER. Civilization game releases are boring. Expansions are fun. Although I am putting together a PC and want to get it done before BNW, so I can run it, because my trashy laptop is crashing.

1000 Clues You Play Civilization V Too Much.

    835. Your worst nightmares are about Gandhi. 836. You get into fights about civilizations that could be added to the game. 837. You get mad when people call "Brave New World" a book. 838. You use the OST in your school projects. (I know I did!)

    Saga of the English (OOC)

Is this still going? If it is, @dot80, are you willing to add civilizations via worldbuilder?

    Civ-Centric Gaming PC

Alright, thanks. I am going with with the HD 7770 GHz edition instead of the 7870, because of my budget.

How Corporations could work in a Post-BNW Civ V

Nice, I like your ideas, but I don't think corporations are worthy enough to get a yield.

    Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall...

First place goes to Pedro, Santa's alter ego. You can't hate on Santa or else he'll send his elves to murder you. A close second goes to Ashurbanipal, Kamehameha's nemesis. Nebby gets third, with his awesome beard of awesomeness.

Making the jump from Prince to King

Heh, King is way more fun because you don't get a major lead in science without trying, and have nothing that your spies do except hang out around your cities and drink coffee.

    Civ-Centric Gaming PC

Hello fellow Civfanatics, and yes, I have seen other threads like this, but I am lazy and want to bother you by asking you for some advice...I am a jerk . Anyways, I am designing a gaming computer with Civilization V, Total War, and Bethesda RPG's (Fallout, Elder Scrolls) in mind, for my...

Personal interest in the nine newcomers.

    1. Brazil: This civilization fits my playstyle and sums up the expansion pretty well. 2. Poland These guys seem very flexible and I always liked policies. 3. Shoshone Would've preferred the Chinook, but they seem okay. As I am a tall player, I will try learning to go wide with these guys. Will...
