I tend to keep my cities bottom related, although I seem to run out of names quite quickly. Assland, Buttsville, Rearton, Great Anus, Rumpshire, Bum, New Cheeks, Hineyburgh, Backsidium...anyone got any others to add to the list? :lol:
I'm Scottish and I'd have been more disappointed if the civ in the game had been called British. At least there's a chance there might be a Scottish/Celtic civ added in an expansion pack this way, and I suspect that's why they called it what they did - to keep their options open.
If you use siege and bombard the city before you attack I don't know what else advice to give you. I've had the game a few days but it seems pretty balanced to me. Holding down the right mouse button over the enemy will tell you what the attack odds are, if they're too high there's no point...
It's not even British you are forced to play, it's English - which leaves hope that they might have plans for other British nations.
Oh and I gave up calling Native Americans that ages ago after hearing a famous NA activist saying that he preferred the term 'Indian' as it translates to 'In God'.
Yeah, it's a nice idea but it takes away from a players skill and adds more to a players luck which isn't what the game needs. Maybe if you could turn them on or off it would be cool, but I think the devs would rather spend time on other features.

There's an AC mod already in teh works for Civ IV, barring legal difficulties they reckon it should be out in a year.
