I usually get pretty high on the techs, if i dont win first. I've never actually gotten to 2500 (or whatever it is) though. Also, the mod is great. Download it immediately.

My two favorite parts are the inital exploration and, even better, a huge World War.

I won one on Regent. by 20K. My advice is to just try to hold on until Riflemen.

Stay on good terms with some civs, so that you can trade with them later. Make GPT deals with strong civs to improve relations and keep them from attackin. Also, keep a good standing army so the other civs don't attack you as much.

France, so i don't have to see the modern Joan. Also, the Romans took me out the first time i ever played, so they usually dont last long.

my fastest is just under 1 and a half hours. My slowest is over 25 hours. usually mine are around 15-20 hours. I like Space-Race, but if i have enough of a military i will go for conquest or domination.

I like when you have a good World War, especially in the modern times. I like trying to get the strongest civs on my side and leading an invasion.

Two other uses are nuing an important resourse, or taking out a Stack of Doom. I do this when there are only two civs left, and rep. dosent matter.

The best lines come from demanding tribute when the enemy is furious with you, and wont comply.

I got sick of it once. Then PTW came out and i started playing DYP with snoopys graphic mod. That really renewed my interest.
