    A New Dawn Beta Builds

Don't know why, but the Fish Market can't be built. If you build one of the required buildings, the text just removes that one from "Requires * or * or *". Just ignore if it's disabled by better rom or something that I'm not aware of.

    Recall your Ambassador penalty

I get it all the time because I go to war with someone, so everyone I have open borders with cancels them and gives me a penalty because they closed their borders. Only way I know to avoid it is to be in a mutual war (then your war ally won't close borders), but if they peace out of the war and...

    A New Dawn Beta Builds

Ah, that would explain why I can't build them. Curious why they're disabled, but... if they're disabled by better RoM, why can I place them in advanced start?

    A New Dawn Beta Builds

I've encountered a strange issue. Betas 4 5 and 6 all had this for me: RoM with no AND, jungle camps can be placed in advanced start, worldbuilt, and built by workers. RoM with AND, jungle camps can only be placed in advanced start or worldbuilt, workers don't have the icon to build them (yes...

    Better RoM: Units

This thread is full of good ideas. German factory - It's a factory with two extra selectable engineer specialists. Germany has a bunch of UU's, so I'm not sure if this is seen as compensating for that. Celts - Already mentioned, they have the honor of possessing the weakest UU AND UB in the...

    HAND (Hydro's A New Dawn)

I'd say only one can be built. It's unlikely that a pay toilet system would raise any real revenues when there's a nearby public toilet system and would be scrapped. Unfavorable opinion or not, if they turned a good profit they wouldn't be phased out (and the  faces represent that...

A New Dawn Bug Reports and Feedback

It wouldn't happen if the damn AI didn't chop down every forest it sees.

    Report Questionable AI Behavior

They might only be a few changes for advanced start, but I bet those changes will have a HUGE impact on the AI's performance with advanced start. Can't wait to try the new version with them :)

    A New Dawn Beta Builds

Afforess, I might be wrong but I thought you posted somewhere that you change it so global warming wouldn't happen pre-Industrial Revolution... if so, as of Patch J it still happens (happened just now in the Renaissance Era), if I'm wrong then just ignore this.

    Report Questionable AI Behavior

Yeah, I'd weight rivers more heavily. Quite a bit more actually, since in RoM:AND you miss out on +1:food: per river tile, +1:commerce: per river tile, and +1:hammers: per river tile as well (+1:hammers: per water tile as well if you're Dutch), altho the hammers take until much later in the...

    Report Questionable AI Behavior

Just make the AI NEVER add a second culture level. For AI's that don't start with Ritualism, have the AI always buy the tech and build a fire pit + elder council in every city, and 1 worker per city. Is there a way to tell the AI to build more military if raging barbarians is on, and station...

    Civic Building Obselecense

It was implemented because people like me abused the system by popping a Golden Age and swapping to each civic for a few turns to have every desirable civic building in every city.

    new diplomatic options

Flexibile difficulty is what you're talking about. That's in the BUG options. The game option you check at start is Increasing difficulty, which increases the difficulty only, never decreases. Population: Towns are overpowered IMO. If you use farms and a specialist economy, you'll usually...

    HAND (Hydro's A New Dawn)

Pay toilets should give +1:health: with Private, not public works. I'd probably extend that to Corporate and Subsidized as well.
