are the tiles with fresh water counted as river? volgograd and kiev are connected to moskva and moskva is to volgograd but no one of the rivers actually looks to reach any of the cities. here's a screen where i marked tiles with fresh water

Civ 4 is a really good game, but it does NOT deserve the game of the year title, Battlefield 2 is the game of the year.

in the tech tree i dont see any bonus with railroads, so why build them and not just make normal roads?

but if i have a pig thats river/road/coast/sea connected to yakutsk and yakutsk is connected to suntar, will suntar get pig resource? do cities share resources?

ok thnx. sry for not describing question 3 clearly, what i meant was if 2 cities are connected with borders but no roads they only get trade bonus, and if only road connects em they only transport resource?

to connect a city with a resource or city you need to have road on the city and resource tile and all tiles between them right? does biulding roads diagonal on the tiles work? and if you connect with road but without culture you only transport resource but not trade and if culture but no...
