Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, STEAM, quite possibly the worst thing ever, won't let me log in. Says my account doesn't exist even though I can log in from a browser. What a joke. :mad:

I just put in the disc and it installed a program called STEAM. Well when I click Steam is says "cannot connect to the steam network, try again later" and then quits... Why do I have to connect to steam? I bought a disc, why can't I just install the game?? Anyone know how to fix this?

No more Cruisers, AEGIS Cruisers, Nuke Subs, Cruise Missiles, Radar Artilery, paratroopers, etc. It seems as though they've eliminated some of the detail from the combat in the later game in favor of all of the new units in the beginning of the game (Maceman, Crossbowman, Axeman, etc). I like...

I think its a fun game overall, and like the 3D. However I agree that some aspects of Civ 3 are better, like the Civlopedia and some icons. Also, I don't think that anyone has mentioned the loss of many units and Civs from C3C. No more Cruisers, AEGIS Cruisers, Nuke Subs, Cruise Missiles...
