I'm just wondering why the tutorial is so bad? Although i really havent played the game that much so far the tutorial seems pretty decent. Is it recommended that you should read the manual as well?

Hey I just started playing Civ IV and I was wondering how you save tutorials. Whenever I try to save it, it saves as a single player game and then when I try to load it, it isnt a tutorial anymore. So is there anyway to save it so you can continue the actual and not the single player?
