    I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the crossbowman still isn't a national unit, and they are a real pain in the rearend. I switched them again 8 ) And thanks again for telling me how.

    Fourth game, made it up to T101 with the Dural and it bombed again. This is getting frustrating. Noone else having problems right after T100??? Am I playing the wrong map? wrong size? wrong races? any comment would be terrific.

    All righty. 2nd game tried with Bannor. 1st crashed at T104 and now this one at T102. I've noticed others having problems around this many turns. there some world event causing problems?

    Successfully changed and thanks alot for the help guys! I just opened the file with notepad and easy peasy I could change it...probably corrupted the files so my comp with explode in 30 secs...and the crossbowboys are back under control.

    Horem- thanks for the info. I'd given up on the mod while waiting for the update. But I'm a computer dummy. Found the place you describe, but it won't let me change the number. Do I need some particular software to open the file or something?

    I loaded FF and it has Crossbowman as national units. Orbis did switch crossbowman to standard troops. However, they were reduced to 7 in strength. This makes a huge difference. But if this is all going to be changed with the next patch I guess it's all moot anyway.

    Ok, guess there's going to be some lots of changes. Sounds like it'll be fun when you get done Valk. Meanwhile, what do people use to take out the Crossbowman with? Just have to crank up to special units and use them?

    RifE 1.20 Bug Thread

    I can't find any mention of the Crossbowman being changed from a national limit of four to a standard unit. But I've just been invaded by hoard of them from the Illians. Is this intended? It seems like a huge switch to a defensive game if it is.
