This whole thread is hilarious. Robo Magic Man, it's funny - when I read in your first post that this was just a joke and please don't discuss politics in this thread I immediately laughed and thought: yeah, right. I'll give it a week before the poo hits the fan. SOMEONE will start a political...
Yeah, it was stated pretty clearly in the initial post:
Yeah, actually I am. I'm working on doing joke versions of all the major world leaders, although I think I'll wait for the SDK to finish it right. So you've got that to look forward to! :goodjob:
yup - just as hip as it is to bash...
Just want to say I love this mod, the map is great and so is the attention to detail - I dig the medieval portraits of the leaders, too, really adds to the feel.
I was reading the last few posts about the UUs and their resource requirements and had a thought - this may be too complicated...
man this is exactly what I've been looking for, nice work - U.S., Latin America. It looks great can't wait to play it and include Robo's Dubya leaderhead. We need a Cuba civ with Castro smoking a fatty - I'm gonna look into it...
You guys do know that there is a great map of all of East Asia included with the 1.52 patch? You can't play the scenario (they didn't finish it or something?) but if you open up the Battle of East Asia Worldbuilder Save from the Public Maps menu (it's in the Civ4 folder somewhere) and choose any...
That is fantastic! - you even did the diplomacy text with real quotes? Can't wait to play with - er, against - this one. Thanks Robo! :goodjob:
P.S. - You should consider making a whole modern leaderhead set with dumb quotes. Blair, Putin, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, etc. That would be a blast...
All great ideas, but I think this would be more realistic:
Cardinals win the World Series - Yankees organization is destroyed in a terrorist biological attack on New York City. George Steinbrenner is the sole survivor because it turns out he's not really human. (Perhaps he is the American Civ...
This map is great but I really wish it had more of the Carribean - I'd like to try a WWIII type scenario - China invades and has a foothold on the west coast, Cuba's poised to take advantage of America's weakest moment, revolution in Mexico, Hugo Chavez is licking his chops in Venezuela - kind...
I've changed Civ leaders on this map by opening the Worldbuilder Save file with notepad or wordpad, deleting the old Civ name LeaderType=LEADER_LOUIS_XIV, and then putting in the new name from the New Leaders mod (or just the vanilla alternate leader - LeaderType=LEADER_NAPOLEAN, for example)...
Thanks - I didn't even know there was a stats screen. I knew about the log, but yeah, its kind of a hassle when you want to compare specific events - I will definitely check out the python editing info., see if I can get my military advisor to gimme what I want - I gotta know exactly how much...
hi - longtime forum lurker, first time poster...
I was wondering - I seem to recall on Civ II (or maybe III) that the military advisor also showed you how many units you had lost in combat and how many enemy units you had eliminated - it may have even shown casualties by unit type. Maybe my...
