i think more or less of it is that the AI doesn't make too many improvements. You can tell mainly because of how long it takes for their cities cuture borders to rise..
I usually do what I used to do in civ 2 multiplayer. Like names such as...'turn back'...followed by a city called...'its your last chance!' but, since this makes no sense to the AI i just dont bother with it unless I accidently do it..
in civ 2 i'd always push for leonardo's workshop. Then it would upgrade all obsolete units(as you all probably know). But now, it just cuts the price in half. Which really doesn't help that much unless you have a ton of cities or your low on cash. But I still like to build it, me being a big...
i'm at that point now...every tech, no matter what(i'm just now reaching industrial age) is taking 4 turns. And the science advyssor still wants more money....greedy bastard.
I just defeated their uprisings(which were spread across the globe) with long bow men that i had running off the barbarians in spots I haven't had a chance to build a city. Massive? yes. Mighty? hardly...
gotta love those weird bugs.
I've actually been able to have my ships kind of fall of the world. I went all the way down to the the icecap and accidently pressed '2' one too many times and it ended up disappearing...i just pressed up agian and bam, there it was. Quite weird if you ask me.
man, in real life you wouldn't see a country waste a nuclear bomb on an aircraft carrier...at least...i wouldn't. But hell, when you can make one every other turn or so, doesn't seem that big of a waste.
