I've played Civilization 4 off and on for awhile now. I don't have any of the expansion packs. I just started coming on this site and looking at mods and stuff. One thing that really just annoys the living begeezes out of me is the global warming. You know, like when all your tiles start...

I loved Alpha Centauri when it first came out and I still do. In my opinion, it might be the best Civ game ever released in terms of gameplay. I think the, "wonder" movies were just spectacular. I don't know why there were hardly ever any mods made for this game. Oh well. I would say that...

The thing that really makes me confused is why it keeps telling me that I have to use it while Civ 3 is running...

I guess I just don't understand how it works. I don't see how you actually play the maps. I don't see how you put the maps in your game.

Yeah well, I downloaded the map finder but so far, I don't see that you can actually create maps. I'll keep looking at it though. I've been trying to get CivAssist 2 to run on my operating system, which is Windows Vista, but I haven't had any luck yet.

I just mean that I want a utility or something that would enable me to make maps of any size that I wanted. You know, a size that's bigger than what is allowed in Civ 3 Vanilla. I don't have Conquests or PTW.

Does anybody know if there's a mod or something that allows you to generate random maps of a specific length, at least ones larger than is currently allowed?
